If you haven’t taken the time to analyze the situation in the Middle East, well…shame on you. Your country has been fighting two wars there and threatening a third for nearly a decade, and it has everything to do with the Israeli/Palestinian situation. We’re not going to lay out a history lesson here today, but in brief, the Arab world would be for the most part content if Israel was willing to pull back to pre-1967 borders, which would give the independent state of Palestine a capital in East Jerusalem.

There are some things that are hard to place a value on, and in the end, any commodity is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. In these times of fiat currency being supported by nothing and the global banking cartel lending money that doesn’t exist, it’s hard to feel confident about hoarding a lot of essentially worthless paper as your nest egg. Many people think that gold is the only standard that everyone will always find to be of value, but personally, I’m not so sure.

Physicist Stephen Hawking, who has completed a documentary series called Stephen Hawking’s Universe that will be aired on the Discovery Channel beginning May 9, believes that there must be extraterrestrials out there somewhere considering the pure mathematic probabilities.
The tragic explosion of the offshore oil rig that killed eleven workers off the coast of Louisiana underscores the reason why there have been limitations placed on offshore drilling for decades. Obama has recently lifted the ban, and the reality is that most Americans are in favor of the drilling, another example of the uninformed lobbying against their own interests.
Protests against the “new” Arizona law that allows law enforcement officers to try to enforce the “old” laws against illegal aliens invading our country seem surreal to me.
If you wanted to point out the single biggest problem with the way our country is run in Washington it is the revolving door between the private business sector and what is tritely referred to as “public service.” You see it when you recognize the fact that people like former Treasury secretaries Rubin and Paulson were both former CEOs of Goldman Sachs.
The Arizona Senate passed a bill yesterday that will require the police in the state to consider whether or not people that they encounter may be in the country illegally. When you are in the business of seeing through the lies and providing an honest perspective on the news, you rarely get the chance to point out anything positive. This is due to the fact that the treacherous machinations of the big business that we call politics are fueled by purely corrupt intentions
Rapper and producer Kanye West seems to have an uncanny knack for making his way into the news one way or another, and to be frank, it is rarely due to anything positive. His latest foray into the public eye is actually not his doing for once, however; he is being accused of not providing adequate security at an MTV award show after-party that resulted in the shooting of hip-hop impresario Suge Knight.

This video that was made available by WikiLeaks.org has gone viral and we would like to pass it around for anyone who may not have seen it. It is something that every American should view, because it is not theory or spin…it is fact, and you are free to interpret it any way that you want to. Personally I feel as though we have never had any legal reason to invade Iraq, and this video points out the very, very loose definition that the military uses to define “enemy combatants” and “rules of engagement.” Here in America many of us place a great deal of emphasis on our 2nd amendment rights.
